Epson's new projectors support 4K and HDR, and the $3000 price tag for the base model 5040UB is thousands less than the competition. The Epson home Cinema Series is making high quality 4K projectors much more affordable.
The 5040UB and 5040UBe deliver 2,500 lumens of brightness and a 1 million to 1 contrast ratio. Plus the projectors can display the entire sRGB and DCI color spaces. Other features include 4K Enhancement technology, that shifts each pixel to double the resolution of HD content. HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2.
