FT Explorer Maiden (w/RunCam 2 comparison)

Maiden flight of the FT Explorer built with FPV in mind. Installed a Naze32 Flight Controller, GPS, and minimOSD micro.

Plane is a bit on the hefty side for the motor/power setup. Sunnysky Angel 2212 980kv motor with a 9x4.7 slow fly prop. About 980 grams AUW with 2200mah Lipo and all equipment including the Xiaomi Yi camera on board.
Wattmeter testing showed only an amp draw of about 10 amps at full throttle yet the ESC was browning out causing the OSD to glitch. I may try an ESC with a larger BEC or go with a switching BEC instead.
I may also try a larger prop to provide more power at a lower throttle setting.
Video clips were shot with a Xiaomi Yi, RunCam 1, and RunCam 2. The new RunCam HD 2 at 1080p 60fps is quite impressive. Colors are a bit supersaturated but detail, sharpness, and contrast are excellent.
