I am quite pleased with the performance of this computer from Lenovo. The Y910 performs as well as a desktop tower might but it is contained in a package that isn't all that much bigger than a monitor on its own.
The review unit loaned to the channel for us to review contains an Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU, an i5-6500 processor, and 12 gigs of RAM. It's currently selling for only about $1700 or so which is a pretty reasonable price.
The display is a 2560x1440 QHD display at 144HZ with a 5ms response time. My only gripe is that it does not have Nvidia G-Sync built in. The onboard speakers are also a little muddy.
The display works even when the computer is off, so plugging in a game console, blu ray player, or even another computer shouldn't be a problem.
I am very pleased by how easy it is to upgrade the storage, memory, and GPU. Slide off the back panels and get to work, really simple and accessible.
Overall this is a great value and worth considering especially for college students who might be looking for a powerful computer that is self contained in an easy to move package.
