This video is a review on an amazing machine that cooks or bakes without the use of very little or no oil. I only did this video because I absolutely love this product.
Roasted Chicken
Ing:
1 2.5 lb whole chicken with fat that has been trimmed
2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
2 tbsp fresh ginger and garlic
1/2 tsp of butter
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 tsp cajun seasoning
1.5 tbsp lemon pepper
Mix all the ingredients together and marinate the chicken for about 20 min or even overnight
Potatoes:
18 bite sized potatoes washed and cut in four
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp paprika (to be used to garnish the potatoes when they are cooked and ready to be served
Method:
Once the chicken is ready to be cooked, open the air frier and place the chicken in the basket with the breast facing down, set your temperature at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let this cook for 30 min until the fryer beeps. Open the drawer and take it out, turn the chicken and put it back in the fryer for another 30 min at 350 degrees. Once the machine beeps for the second time make sure and take the temperature of the chicken, it should be 165 degrees for a well done chicken.
Clean the machine and prepare the portages by washing the potatoes and cutting them in four. Add the melted butter as well as all the spices, mix throughly and put it in the air fryer for 360 degrees F for about 16 min, make sure the potatoes are fork tender if you need a couple more minutes stick them back in the air fryer for a couple more minutes. Don't forget to sprinkle the paprika on top!
Serve with salad and the roasted chicken.
