I have flaws? Um... where?!
I have flaws? Where? I don’t see them.
I feel like there’s a really positive movement regarding feeling good within your body and feeling body confident, but there isn’t a lot of focus on feeling good ‘facially’. I’m lucky enough to have always felt body confident, but I did grow up feeling completely ugly. I had (what I thought was) a big nose, ugly eyes, bad skin and boofy hair. I was so unhappy with the way I looked. I’m now 30 and am finally starting to feel ‘facially’ confident. I was told I should look into getting a nose job, and whereas I would have jumped at the chance when I was younger, I now no longer want one. What I used to think were flaws, I now see as features of my face, or ‘quirks in design’. We’re not meant to look the same! Let’s celebrate our uniqueness!
