We're excited to present a new project from a producer who has achieved legendary status over his many years with us. Meramek is the deep house alias of none other than Oliver Smith, a man with countless fan favourites on both Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats. The debut Meramek EP sees Olie channeling his varied musical influences into three tracks of vibrant, contemporary house music. 
Featuring in Jody Wisternoff's "Anjunadeep 05" mix, "Feeling" is built around a sharp bouncing bassline and infectious vocal snippets, wound together by some of Smith's trademark shimmering atmospherics. 
If "Feeling" is a sun-soaked terrace anthem, then "Maybe" is a genuine peak time stormer, complete with a heavy low end groove, woozy soundscapes and crisp, shuffling percussion. Picking up early support from a host of underground DJs, this one's set to do some dancefloor damage. 
Things get moodier still with "FWD". Garage influenced drums make way for a pounding bassline, accompanied by subtle stabs and a breakdown of arpeggios, vocal cuts and drifting sirens to round off a bold and exciting debut EP for Meramek.
