Virtual Reality is a burgeoning industry that is generating much excitement in tech circles. Bruce speaks about his personal experiences with shared virtual reality, the surprises and epiphanies along the way, and the impact it can have on human communication at this early stage.
Bruce Wooden is Head of Developer Relations at AltspaceVR, a virtual reality interactive communications platform and leader in the Social VR space.
Known in VR circles as Cymatic Bruce, he has been an active industry evangelist since 2013, has participated in more than 700 VR experiences, and accrued millions of views on video and live-streamed content. Bruce co-founded Silicon Valley Virtual Reality (SVVR) in May 2013, a meetup group which has grown to 3,000 members and hosts an annual conference. He hosted a regular show on VR experiences (SundayVR), and frequently speaks at industry events.
