During one of my initial test flights I battled to control the loss of the Ranger EX in which the right clevis @1:55 detaches from the aileron horn at the very limits of my LOS approx 1600 feet away from me. I was able to save her, bring her back and continue flying before touching down. On the upper left hand side of the video you can see the clevis dagling from the wing. Now I have stainless clevises epoxied onto 2mm carbon rods throughout. Like many of we RC Pilots, I thought it was a signal glitch.
