In this recipe video, I show you how to make a classic potato lyonnaise. This side dish with sliced potatoes and beautifully caramelized onions, makes a great addition to roasted red meats, chicken, pork and even fish. Although my favorite is with a perfectly cooked steak.
The potatoes get cooked to perfection, with a tender center and a crusty, crisp top. And the caramelized onions add a great salty/sweet flavor to the recipe. There's a few techniques that you need to pay attention too, but it's a potato recipe that is not all hard to make and really delicious.
