This is an exceptional monitor for those with modern PCs with video hardware capable of supporting it. What's interesting is that it will work well for gamers as well as creative professionals.
For gamers the display offers a 100hz refresh rate along with a quick 4ms response time. Its native resolution 3440x1440 which is just shy of a double-wide 1440p display. The curvature actually works with this display and provides a better sense of immersion. I really wasn't sold on the few 1080p curved displays I've tried earlier but I think the ultra widescreen really complements the curvature well. Just note you'll likely need a somewhat powerful GPU to deliver acceptable framerates at full resolution. Also note that while this does support AMD's FreeSync technology it does not support Nvidia's Gsync (although the display will otherwise work fine with Nvidia GPUs.
Creative professionals will appreciate the wide color gamut and quality of images and text on the display. I've found 1440p displays to be better than 1080p displays for sharp, "non-pixellated" text (especially with smaller fonts) and this one does quite well for web browsing, writing, desktop publishing, etc.
The internal speakers are passable. They are loud but lack the range that a nice pair of computer speakers or headphones will provide.
All in this is an excellent display from Samsung and worth considering. Just be sure your computer can support its 100hz refresh rate and resolution prior to purchasing. I recommend connecting with a DisplayPort cable vs. HDMI for the best compatibility.
