Despite being announced on July 23 by the now Microsoft-acquired Nokia, we couldn't help but shoot just one more hands-on video as yesterday's IFA festivities wound down here in Berlin -- this time with the Lumia 625, a mid-range Windows Phone that's nearly as appealing as its flagship siblings.
The Nokia Lumia 625 packs a 4.7 inch WVGA display with a PPI rating of 201. Nokia's Lumia Amber updates spruce up Microsoft's core Windows Phone 8 OS, and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, helped by a modest amount of 512MB of RAM, sit at its heart. That modesty continues in the form of its 8GB of (Micro-SD expandable) internal storage, as well as the 5MP camera around back. Still, the shapely and translucent body paired with the large display keep us optimistic for this device's chances in the midrange segment.
