Anne-Marie (and Lily!) Make Bath Crayons

These Melt and Pour Bath Crayons give kiddos another way to get creative in the tub. Made with melt and pour soap and LabColors, these crayons are perfect for doodling in the shower and tub. They also work great on paper! We added a touch of the new Orange Soda Fragrance Oil for a sweet and fruity scent kids will love.

Orange Soda Fragrance Oil:
You can scale the recipe up or down depending on how many crayons you'd like to make. Each tube uses undiluted LabColors to give intense color, so no need to dilute the LabColors before use. 
As a rule of thumb, each Twist Tube can hold about 1.5 ounces. For each tube, we found 3 mL of color was enough to leave color on the tub. Some colors do work a little bit better than others - we had the best luck with red, pink, green, and blue shades. 
We found the color from these crayons were easy to wash off the tube and other nonporous surfaces. To be on the safe side, test the soap crayons in a discrete area on your tub before unleashing your child’s creativity. If your tub is extremely old or porous, you may not want to risk it.
Bath Crayon Recipe:
3 White Twist Tubes
5 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap
2 mL Orange Soda Fragrance Oil
3mL undiluted Lab Color of your choice
