The wait is finally over! ARRMA has been taunting us about a new release and by the teasers, it was going to be a massive release. Well it is literally massive, the release the new ARRMA Kraton 8S 1/5th-Scale Electric Truggy! We were lucky enough to catch wind of this from a little birdy and then sweet talked Horizon Hobby into letting us borrow one of their test samples to show you this amazing new addition to the potent ARRMA line-up. RC truggies are performance machines and up until now, the biggest in size were ⅛-scale, now we have a ⅕ truggy to terrify the off-road terrain with. This truck has an aggressive body, rugged 4wd driveline, burley suspension and a powerful electronics package right out of the box. We dove right into the box when we got it and spent almost a complete week working on one of our most comprehensive reviews yet! Seriously, grab a soda, a bag of chips and stream this to the TV in your living room so you get all the details and see all the amazing action we painstakingly shot. ARRMA keeps wowing the RC community, see everything you need to know about the Arrma Kraton 8S right here!

ADDITIONAL INFO
After the edits of the video, we did want to clarify a few things. In the video we suggest getting the Spektrum Bluetooth Module to use the Dashboard app to make changes we felt were necessary. We should have also mentioned that the radio does have the ability to set endpoints without the App. Follow the manual to make extra fine tuning adjustments via the radio. The ESC is also programmable. You can set features like punch control to make the trucks power feel more aggressive. As for a fix for the pivot ball retaining screws that backed out, we suggest trying a coating of shoe-goo on the threads to secure the screws. This should hold it in place and still allow it to be serviceable.
