Collard Greens
1 Bunch Collard Greens
1 Smoked Turkey Wing
1 tablespoon minced garlic or powdered garlic
1 tablespoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1 teaspoon Creole Seasoning (optional)
2 tablespoon Chopped Mixed Bell Peppers
Cook in water or broth if desired. Cook in slow cooker if you don't have time to babysit a pot. Otherwise, cook them on top of stove in large pot on low to medium heat. Keep check so that the water does not cook out and greens will burn. Refill pot with water or broth as needed until tender. Serve hot.
