Lisa Gade reviews the second generation Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12, running Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Broadwell 5th generation CPU. This is a 12.5” Ultrabook with a 360 degree hinge, locking keyboard and Wacom pen on the full HD model. The Yoga 12 starts at $890 with a Core i3, 4 gigs of RAM, 500 gig HDD with 16 gig caching SSD and a 1366 x 768 touch screen. We look at a higher end model with the 2.3 GHz Core i5-5300U, 8 gigs of RAM, a 180 gig SSD and full HD 1920 x 1080 matte IPS display that supports both touch and the included Wacom pen. The laptop weighs 3.48 lbs. and is 0.74” thick, and as usual for a ThinkPad, it has a rugged build, a top notch keyboard and a TrackPoint. The ThinkPad Yoga 12 has changed little from the first generation we reviewed at the end of 2013 here . The most important change is the upgrade to Intel Broadwell, updated Intel 7265AC WiFi and now Windows 10 as an available option.
