This is a quick guide that explains everything you need to know about displaying 4K HDR video using a blu-ray player or media player such as a Roku, Fire TV, or other set top boxes such as the Nvidia Shield.
In order to properly display 4K HDR (Dolby Vision or HDR10) content that is HDCP 2.2 protected you must ensure that your all of the devices, including your TV, support HDCP 2.2. You must also ensure that the HDMI cable you are using has the bandwidth necessary to display premium 4K HDR content.
