Rigol DS1102E / DS1052E Oscilloscope Teardown / BNC Repair / Channel 2 Fault
A scope has been very kindly donated to me which needed a repair. In the course of doing so I have discovered a fault on the front end circuit of channel 2, which may or may not have been caused by me. I don't know for sure! I have found a possible cause as mentioned in a YT comment on another video, so in the future I will revisit this. I haven't done the best job of this but I hope it's of some help to anyone trying to get inside one. That's the whole point of putting the videos up in the first place, whether they go well or not.
