Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a story that centers around Mr. Utterson, who is a lawyer, and his relationship with a well-known scientist named Dr. Jekyll. Dr. Jekyll is the apparent victim of blackmail, with the perpetrator of the crime being Mr. Hyde. Enfield, a distant relative of Mr. Utterson saw Mr. Hyde attack a young girl. Also, Mr. Utterson is the executor of Dr. Jekyll's will - and in it he's recently made a revision leaving all his assets to Mr. Hyde upon his death or disappearance.
